Sweet and Savory Brisket in a Bag
- 3 tablespoons flour, divided
- 5 lbs beef brisket, trimmed
- 1 (14 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (1 1/2 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
- Place 1 tablespoon flour in a large roasting bag.
- shake to coat.
- place bag in an ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan.
- place brisket in bag.
- combine the cranberry sauce, soup, tomato sauce, soup mix and remaining flour and pour over beef.
- seal bag.
- cut slits in top of bag.
- bake at 325 for 3 hours.
- slice beef aganist the grain and serve with the gravy.
