Bell Pepper Curry

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add mustard seeds when the oil is smoking.
  3. Wait for the seeds to sputter.
  4. Add cumin seeds, (optional) dals, peanuts, asafoetida.
  5. Drop the peppers in.
  6. Add turmeric, chilli powder and salt.
  7. Saute until the peppers are slightly tender.
  8. Add the chickpea flour and mix well.
  9. Saute until the flour makes a nice golden brown crust.
  10. Serve hot with dal and rice.
