Hamburgers a La Sherry

  1. Form patties of the hamburger, using 1/3 pound to each patty.
  2. Heat butter in a frying pan until it is golden brown.
  3. Fry the hamburgers until well-browned on a very hot fire, applying salt, pepper and a liberal coating of Bahamian mustard to the exposed raw side of the hamburgers.
  4. Turn over, and pour a little sherry over each hamburger.
  5. Sherry will trickle down and mix with the browned butter to make a delicious gravy.
  6. Cook about 5 minutes and serve immediately.
