Easy homemade cottage cheese
- 2 litre fresh milk
- 3 tbsp vinegar or lemon
- 1 muslin cloth
- Boil the milk and turn off heat.
- Add vinegar or lemon and stir the milk.
- Wait approx 10mins then turn on the heat again and allow to boil for 10mins.
- If it doesnt start to clump, just add a little more vinegar.
- Allow to sit for approx an hour, then drain through the cloth.
- Hang the cloth from the kitchen faucet and allow the cheese to dry.
- If there is any water left, just twist it as much as possible, and leave it for a day.
