You Name Them Cookies (Ranger)
- 1 cup shortening (can be partly margarine)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 12 cups flour
- 2 cups quick oats
- 2 cups corn flakes or 2 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup raisins or 1 cup dates
- 1 cup coconut
- Mix shortening, sugar & eggs.
- Add salt, soda & baking powder to flour, then add to shortening mix.
- Add Oats & Corn flakes.
- Add raisins & coconut last.
- Roll into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet & flatten with a fork, crisscrossing.
- Bake at 350 until browned, about 12 minutes.
