Steamed Pearl Balls

  1. Combine Uncooked Rice and 1 1/2 C.
  2. Cold Water.
  3. Let Stand 2 Hours.
  4. Drain Rice and Place On Paper Towels To Dry.
  5. Combine Mushrooms and 1/2 cup Hot Water; Let Stand 15 Min.
  6. Remove and Discard Mushroom Stems; Set Aside Caps.
  7. Trim Excess Fat From Pork.
  8. With Knife Blade Process Pork 1 Min.
  9. OR Until Finely Chopped.
  10. Add Reserved Mushrooms, Egg and Remaining Ingredients; Process 45 Sec.
  11. OR Until Well Blended.
  12. Shape Pork Mixture Into 16 (1 in.)
  13. Balls.
  14. Roll Each Ball in Reserved Rice.
  15. Arrange Balls in A 10 X 6 X 2 in.
  16. Baking Pan; Place Dish On A Rack in A Roasting Pan.
  17. Pour Water in Roasting Pan To The Depth Of 1 in.
  18. Bring To A Boil.
  19. Cover Roasting Pan.
  20. Reduce Heat To Medium and Steam 20 Min.
  21. Serve Immediately.
