Stuffed Jumbo Shells
- 1/2 (12 oz.) pkg. jumbo shells (20)
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 c. celery
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. walnuts, chopped
- 2 (15 1/2 oz.) spaghetti sauce
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- One hour before serving, prepare shells as label directs; drain well.
- Heat salad oil, ground beef, onion, garlic, celery, salt and pepper until meat is well browned.
- Stir in walnuts and 1/2 jar spaghetti sauce.
- Stuff rounded tablespoonful of meat mixture into each shell.
- Reserve remaining meat mixture.
- Spoon 1 cup sauce into 10 x 2-inch casserole.
- Sprinkle with remaining meat mixture.
- Spoon remaining sauce evenly in and around shells, sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 20 minutes.
- Makes 6 servings.
