Mike's Dry Rub

  1. Mix all seasonings together in a large bowl.
  2. After mixing, put the ingredients in containers fixed with lids with large holes (due to the size of the steak seasoning or garlic pepper) for applying to the steaks.
  3. Lay all your steaks out on freezer paper.
  4. Use a fork to tenderize each steak (double tenderize any tough spots).
  5. Apply 1 tablespoon seasoning to each steak and let sit for 5 minutes.
  6. Apply 1 teaspoon each of soy sauce, Worcestershire and olive oil to each steak.
  7. Rub this into meat, making sure liquid and dry seasonings cover steak thoroughly!
  8. Let sit 1 hour.
  9. Then repeat on other side.
  10. After turning meat and seasoning, start your charcoal fire.
  11. Let the charcoal burn down until the ash is white (approximately 45 minutes to l hour).
  12. Preheat grill to 350 degrees F. Cook steaks 8 minutes on each side.
