Chocolate Caramel Surprise Recipe

  1. Heat caramels with 1/3 of the lowfat milk over low heat till smooth.
  2. Combine remaining lowfat milk, cake mix and butter.
  3. Press 1/2 of cake mix into bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan, greased.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 min.
  5. Sprinkle 1 c. chocolate chips over crust.
  6. Top with caramel spreading over entire pan.
  7. Splotch with remaining cake mix.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
  9. Cold and chill.
