Doves in Cornbread Stuffing, Altered to Our Liking!!
- 12 cup chopped celery
- 14 cup sliced green onion
- 2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley
- 2 (8 1/2 ounce) boxes Jiffy cornbread mix, prepared and crumbled
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 12 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 8 boneless skinless dove breasts, chopped finely
- Heat oven to 350F.
- lightly grease 2 quart casserole, set aside.
- In medium skillet cook and stir dove, celery, onion and parsley in butter over medium heat until tender.
- Add remaining stuffing ingriedients, mix until moistened.
- Bake covered one hour.
