Freezer Oatmeal Cookies
- 1 12 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup chopped raisins
- Mix dry ingredients except sugar.
- Mix butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- Stir in dry ingredients.
- Add oats and raisins.
- Divide dough into 4 parts.
- Shape each into a roll about 6 inches long and 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
- Wrap in waxed paper.
- Freeze.
- To bake, slice about 1/4 inches thick.
- Place on greased baking sheet.
- Bake about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Makes 7 dozen cookies.
