Simple Strawberry or Peach Pie

  1. In a small saucepan, thorougly mix cornstarch together with sugar before adding water.
  2. Bring to a rolling boil and then remove from heat.
  3. Add gelatin, mix well and let cool about 20 minutes.
  4. Cut up fruit into pie shell.
  5. Pour warm sauce over top and refrigerate at least until set, about 1 hour.
  6. Serve with sweetened whipping cream.
