Angel Cake Recipe

  1. Separate the Large eggs.
  2. Beat the yolks well, add in the cool water and beat again.
  3. Add in the sugar gradually, a tablespoonful at a time, while beating and beat till the sugar is disolved.
  4. This requires a lot of beating.
  5. Mix in the sifted flour.
  6. Add in salt to egg white, whip to a froth, add in cream of tartar, whip till stiff and dry, mix in lightly.
  7. Mix in the vanilla.
  8. Bake in a slow, 325(deg), oven for one hour, or possibly till the top springs back when touched.
  9. Remove from oven, invert pan till cake is cool.
  10. Ice with your favorite frosting.
