Thai-style Somen Noodles With Fish Sauce
- 250 grams Ground pork
- 1 bunch Chinese chives
- 300 grams Somen noodles
- 1 to 2 tablespoons Fish sauce
- 1 clove and 1 piece each Garlic and ginger
- 1 from 1/2 a lemon Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Chicken stock granules
- Make the soup by mixing together 500 ml of water and 1 tablespoon of chicken soup stock granules.
- The soup can be warm or soft, whichever you prefer.
- Cut the chives into 4 to 5 cm long pieces, and finely chop the garlic and ginger.
- Heat some sesame oil in a frying pan and stir fry the garlic and ginger.
- Add the ground meat and stir fry.
- When it's cooked, add the garlic, mix quickly and add the fish sauce.
- Drizzle the soy sauce around the surface of the pan and mix in.
- Cook the somen noodles, drain and rinse and wash well under running water to remove any surface stickiness.
- Drain well.
- Arrange the somen noodles on a plate, top with the stir fry and pour plenty of the sauce from Step 1.
- Add the lemon juice and it's done.
