Pigs in a Blanket
- 24 pieces Cocktail Sausages, See Note Below
- 2 packages Puff Pastry
- 2 whole Eggs
- 3 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard (optional)
- *Note: If you have difficulty finding cocktail sausages or if they are WAY too pricey where you live, use hot dogs.
- Cut each hot dog into 3 equal pieces.
- Two packages of four hot dogs for this recipe.
- Preheat oven to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 1.
- Roll out the pastry sheets and cut each sheet into 12 rectangles.
- (Two sheets=24 rectangles).
- *At this time, if you like, you can spread some Dijon on the pastry sheets.
- Since some people do not like Dijon, it is still delicious to omit it entirely.

- Place one piece of sausage/hot dog on each rectangle and roll close, like a blanket.
- Crack open the eggs, whisk and wash on top of each sausage wrap.
- 3.
- Transfer to a cookie sheet that has been covered with parchment paper.
- Place in oven and cook for about 15 minutes.
