Presidential Cinnamon Glazed Almonds

  1. Place butter in a 15x10x1 baking pan.
  2. Bake at 325F until melted, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, beat egg whites with salt until soft peaks form.
  4. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold in cinnamon and almonds; pour over butter and toss to coat.
  6. Bake at 325F for 40 minutes, turning every 10 minutes, or until almonds are crisp.
