Nancy Whiskey
- 2 ounces Irish whiskey, preferably a peated single malt, such as Connemara
- 1/2 ounce Branca Menta (bitter, minty Italian digestif)
- 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce Ginger Syrup
- 1/2 ounce honey syrup (2 teaspoons honey mixed with 1 teaspoon warm water)
- Ice
- 1 1/2 ounces chilled club soda
- 1 lemon twist
- Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the whiskey, Branca Menta, lemon juice, Ginger Syrup and honey syrup.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
- Strain into a chilled ice-filled highball glass and stir in the club soda.
- Pinch the lemon twist over the drink and discard.
- Garnish with the nutmeg.
