Western Round Steak Recipe

• 2 lbs. round steak, cut in serving pcs
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 c. finely crushed corn flakes
• 2 teaspoon chili pwdr
• 1/4 c. oil
• 1 med. onion, sliced
• 1 green pepper, sliced
• 2 (8 ounce.) tomato sauce
• 1 c. of water

1. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper.
2. Dip into egg then in corn flakes mixed with chili pwdr.
3. Brown meat on both sides in oil at medium heat.
4. Add in remaining ingredients.
5. Cover; simmer 45 to 60 min.
