Western Round Steak Recipe
- 2 lbs. round steak, cut in serving pcs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. finely crushed corn flakes
- 2 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 med. onion, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 2 (8 ounce.) tomato sauce
- 1 c. of water
- Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper.
- Dip into egg then in corn flakes mixed with chili pwdr.
- Brown meat on both sides in oil at medium heat.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Cover; simmer 45 to 60 min.
