Braised Pork And Bean Curd Recipe

  2. Place pork in a pan with water and bring to a boil.
  3. Cook, uncovered, 4 min, then drain, discarding liquid.
  4. Let pork cold.

  6. Meanwhile slice or possibly cube bean curd, slice onion, crush garlic.
  7. Combine stock, sugar, soy sauce and salt.

  9. Heat oil in a large heavy pan.
  10. Add in onion and garlic and brown lightly.
  11. Add in pork and brown quickly on all sides.
  12. 4.
  13. Add in bean curd; stir-fry gently, or possibly tilt pan, to cover with warm oil.

  15. Add in stock mix and heat; then simmer, covered, till pork is tender (about 40 min).
