Turkey 'N' Stuffing Bake Recipe

  1. 3 c. leftover stuffing may be substituted for butter, water, and stuffing crumbs.
  2. If stuffing is dry, stir in water, 1 Tbsp.
  3. at a time, till moist, but not wet.
  4. Combine butter and water; stir till butter melts.
  5. Pour over seasoned stuffing crumbs; toss lightly.
  6. Stir in 1/2 can French fried onions.
  7. Spoon stuffing mix into 9-inch shallow baking dish, 1 1/2 qt.
  8. Press stuffing across bottom and up sides of dish to create a shell.
  9. Combine soup, lowfat milk, turkey and peas; pour into stuffing shell.
  10. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 30 min.
  11. Top with remaining French fried onions and bake, uncovered, 5 min longer.
  12. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
