Jako and Daikon Radish Salad (Mentaiko and Mayo Sauce)

  1. Dry roast the chirimen jako in a skillet and let it cool.
  2. Cut the daikon radish into rectangular slices.
  3. Combine the ingredients, salt and pepper and set it aside.
  4. Rinse the watercress.
  5. Toss the ingredients right before serving.
  6. Mix the daikon radish with the mentaiko and mayo dressing.
  7. Add the chirimen jako and toss well.
  8. Transfer to a serving plate and top with bonito flakes.
  9. Serve with watercress on the side.
