Shortbread Cookies Recipe
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 1/2 c. finely minced nuts
- Resift flour with baking pwdr.
- Cream butter with sugar till light and fluffy.
- Gradually blend in flour mix.
- Stir in nuts.
- Cover and chill.
- Roll out on floured board to 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut into desired shapes.
- Bake at 300 degrees for about 20 min till edges are very lightly browned.
- Cold on wire racks.
- Makes 2-2 1/2 dozen cookies.
