Seeni Sambola ( Spicy caramelized onion)

  1. Heat oil in a sauce pan.
  2. Add cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom, curry leaves fry 30 sec or until release flavor.
  3. Add chopped onions, salt, chilli flakes & cook until onions are soft & little golden color.
  4. Now mix tamarind paste with water & add to onion mix,add sugar.
  5. Cook until onions are well caramelized,sticky & soft.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Can be served with bread, roti, rice.
  8. You can keep the rest in fridge for 2-3 days.
