the ultimate empanadas

  1. brown ground meat in skillet and drain
  2. put ground meat back in skillet
  3. add all of the other ingredients and mix well to incorporate the meat.
  4. do not add the dough, of course lol!
  5. cook on med high and simmer for five minutes.
  6. remove from heat
  7. place one of the discos on plate and place a heaping TBS.
  8. of the meat filling in the center,
  9. fold in half and crimp the edges closed with a fork.
  10. repeat this step until all discos are full.
  11. this recipe makes ten.
  12. fill skillet with two inches of oil.
  13. when oil is hot, place empanadas in four at a time.
  14. flip a couple of times to brown on both sides.
  15. drain on paper towels.
  16. enjoy!
