An Israeli Cauliflower That Basically Everyone Loves
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- 5 cups canola oil
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teapoon freshly ground white pepper
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pink pepper
- dried currants
- pine nuts, toasted
- fresh parsley, coarsely chopped
- Whisk together the vinegar, honey, and mustard.
- Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking to create an emulsion.
- Season with the salt and pepper.
- Set aside until ready to use.
