Cheesy Spinach Dip

• 2 -3 tablespoons butter
• 12 medium onion, chopped finely
• 1 lb fresh spinach leaves
• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
• 2 tablespoons heavy cream
• 12 cup chopped pecans

1. Saute onion in butter until carmelized.
2. Add spinach and wilt for a few mintues.
3. Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and cream.
4. Stir until melted and blended together.
5. Place cheese mixture in an oven-safe casserole dish (6 x 9).
6. Top with pecans.
7. Bake in 350 degree oven until browned on top and pecans toasted.
8. Serve immediately.
