Herb Oil
- 2 cups olive oil
- 2 tablespoons dried basil
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons granulated garlic powder, or 10 cloves fresh garlic, pressed and lightly sauteed in 1/2 cup of the olive oil
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt or coarse sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon chile flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon sweet or hot paprika (optional)
- In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients.
- Let sit at room temperature for 2 hours before using.
