No-Cook Sweet or Sour Cherry Jam - CERTO Liquid

  1. Stem and finely chop cherries.
  2. Measure exactly 1-3/4 cups prepared fruit into large bowl.
  3. Stir in sugar.
  4. Let stand 10 min., stirring occasionally.
  5. Mix pectin and lemon juice in small bowl.
  6. Add to cherry mixture; stir 3 min.
  7. or until most the sugar is dissolved and no longer grainy.
  8. (A few sugar crystals may remain.)
  9. Fill all containers immediately to within 1/2 inch of tops.
  10. Wipe off top edges of containers; immediately cover with lids.
  11. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours or until set.
