Vegetarian Fried Spring Rolls

  1. Cut the green peppers, carrots and mushrooms into thin strips.
  2. Rehydrate the harusame and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and fry the green peppers, carrots and mushrooms.
  4. When they are slightly cooked, add the cellophane (harusame) and stir fry.
  5. Add salt and soy sauce while stirring.
  6. On a spring roll wrapper, evenly place the filling from step 2 and spread flour dissolved in equal amount of water along the edge of the wrapper and roll it up.
  7. Place the spring rolls on a frying pan with oil, and fry until they are browned on both sides.
