Farm Stand Fruit Mix
- 5 to 8 lb. assortment of fresh fruit from (preferably) the local farmer's market
- 2 oranges, in sections
- 1 pink grapefruit, in sections
- Cut peaches in half, then in wedges; cut melons in half, discard seeds, scoop bite-sized pieces with a spoon; remove seeds from cherries or grapes; remove stems from strawberries; etc.
- Place all the fruit in a large bowl*.
- Carefully stir in the orange and grapefruit sections.
- Cover and chill.
- Can be prepared one day in advance.
