Tandoori Prawns
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Shan Tandoori Chicken Mix
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Low Fat Plain Yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Minced Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
- 2 pinches Salt
- 2 pounds, 3-13 ounces, weight Prawns
- Oil, For Frying
- Mix all the ingredients together (except the prawns and oil) in a large bowl.
- You will get a pasty marinade.
- Add the prawns (already shelled, deveined, washed) to the marinade.
- Mix thoroughly to ensure all the prawns are evenly coated.
- Seal with cling wrap and set aside for at least 2 hours in the fridge.
- After 2 hours, heat the pan with a little oil.
- Pan fry the prawns, about 4 5 minutes on each side.
- Serve.
