Lightly Deep-Fried Tofu Steak

  1. Pat dry the tofu with a paper towel.
  2. Mix the ingredients.
  3. Cut the tofu into 4 x 3 x 1 cm pieces.
  4. Apply a thin coating of vegetable oil to the frying pan and heat.
  5. Coat the tofu in katakuriko, tap off the excess and cook on medium heat until all sides turn golden brown.
  6. Once the surface becomes crispy, add the ingredients on the side.
  7. Shake the frying pan to flavor to the tofu.
  8. Turn off the heat and transfer to a dish.
  9. Top with bonito flakes, garnish with mayonnaise, scatter the green onions and it's finished.
