Cuban Grilled-Steak Mojito

  1. In small bowl, mix together crushed garlic, steak seasoning, salt, 1 1/2 tsp.
  2. lime zest and 1 Tbsp.
  3. olive oil.
  4. Spread mixture on both sides of rib-eye steaks.
  5. Preheat grill to medium; spray steaks on both sides with cooking spray.
  6. Grill steaks for 5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  7. Remove to serving platter and keep warm.
  8. To make mojito sauce, heat remaining 1 Tbsp.
  9. olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  10. Add onion and saute until soft.
  11. Add remaining 1 tsp.
  12. lime zest, rum, lime juice, 3 Tbsp.
  13. chopped mint, honey and 1/4 cup water.
  14. Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
  15. Pour mojito sauce over steaks on platter and sprinkle with remaining 1 Tbsp.
