Lighter Shrimp Scampi
- 6 ounces, weight Angel Hair Pasta
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 whole Onion, Diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 pound Peeled And Deveined Shrimp, Medium Size (Fresh Or Frozen)
- 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 13 cups White Wine
- 1/2 cups Freshly Chopped Parsley
- Cook your angel hair pasta according to the package directions.
- When done, drain it and set aside.
- Heat up your olive oil in a skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add the onion, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Stir around and let onions slightly brown, for about 2 minutes.
- Place shrimp in the pan, and allow them to cook for about 3 1/2 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Pour in your lemon juice, white wine, and half of your fresh parsley.
- Stir and continue to cook for another minute.
- Toss in your cooked angel hair pasta and mix to combine.
- Sprinkle on remaining chopped parsley.
