Bourbon treacle and vanilla granola
- 1 cup Bourbon
- 1/2 cup real maple syrup
- 4 tbsp real vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp of treacle
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground clove
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 3 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 kg rolled oats
- 250 grams mix fruit and nuts
- 50 grams seeds any
- 200 grams pecans
- 1 cup honey crusted cashews
- 1 pinch sea salt
- Preheat the oven to 375F
- Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl liquid first then brown sugar followed by others
- Pour mixed ingredients onto a lined baking tray
- Back in top of oven for 30/35 minutes or until golden brown
- Take out and cool completely on bench
- Store in an airtight container in pantry
