Holiday Cranberry Salad

  1. mix boiling water and gelatin until completely dissolved.
  2. Add lemon juice and salt.
  3. Chill mixture until slightly thickened and add mayo.
  4. Beat with rotary beater until fluffy and fold in cranberry sauce, apple and nuts.
  5. This recipe originally said you can fill the cranberry sauce can 3/4 full and use other assorted containers for the remaining.
  6. Then insert a holiday candle on top when firm.
