Chocolate Chickpea Hazelnut Spread
- 1 cup hazelnuts
- 1 cup canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup olive oil or coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a food processor, pulse the hazelnuts until they form a fine meal.
- Add the chickpeas and process until combined.
- Add the coconut sugar, cocoa powder, olive oil, vanilla and 1/4 cup water and process until smooth.
