Cheesy Potato Soup

  1. In a 4 quart saucepan: boil potatoes, onion, water, and salt until potatoes are tender.
  2. On medium heat: Add remaining ingredients and cook until desired thickness.
  3. Garnish the top of soup with bacon bits.
