Macrobiotic & Easy Deep Fried Soy Meat

  1. Soak the soy meat in hot water for 5 minutes and squeeze the water out.
  2. Put in a bowl and add the sake, soy sauce, grated ginger, grated garlic and sesame oil.
  3. Mix well and marinate for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove any excess liquid and coat with katakuriko.
  5. Deep fry in oil.
  6. Place a lettuce leaf (or similar leafy vegetable) on the serving plate and place the deep fried soy meat on top.
  7. I used this soy meat this time.
  8. I used 1/3 of a 130 g packet.
