Round Steak On Rice Recipe

• 1 1/2 pound round steak, cut into cubes
• 1/4 c. Crisco
• 1 1/2 c. minced onion
• 2 tbsp. flour, slightly rounded
• 2 teaspoon salt
• 1 sm. can tomato paste
• 1 can tomatoes (regular size)
• 1 c. water
• 1-2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 sm. can button mushrooms, liquid removed
• Garlic salt to taste

1. Brown steak in Crisco; add in onions; stir and cook till tender.
2. Add in flour, then the rest except mushrooms.
3. Cover, cook on very low heat till tender, about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs.
4. Add in mushrooms; let heat.
5. Serve over rice.
