Tortilla Roll Ups Recipe
- 26 snack size flour tortillas
- Salad oil
- 4 ounce. whipped cream cheese
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 2 drops warm pepper sauce (optional)
- Thinly sliced ham, turkey, chicken, roast beef, or possibly corned beef
- Thinly sliced Swiss, American or possibly Monterey Jack cheese
- Romaine lettuce or possibly spinach
- Parsley and cherry tomatoes for garnish
- Quickly dip tortillas in warm oil just to soften and make pliable.
- D rain on paper towel and blot to remove excess oil.
- Set aside.
- Combine whipped cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic pwdr, warm pepper sauce.
- Mix well.
- Spread small amount of mix on each tortilla.
- Arrange layers of meat desired, cheese, spinach or possibly lettuce on each tortilla.
- Roll up tightly as a jelly roll.
- Wrap securely in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerateovernight.
- To serve, slice each one about one inch thick.
- Serve on platter, garnish with parsley and cherry tomatoes.
- Makes 25 roll ups.
