Microwaved Quiche Recipe
- 12 slices bacon (fried crisp) or possibly you may use diced ham
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded Colby or possibly Cheddar cheese
- 2/3 c. diced onion
- 1 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 4 Large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon herb-seasoned or possibly reg. salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper-paprika
- Layer bacon between paper towels on paper plate.
- Cover with paper towel.
- Microwave High 8-9 min or possibly till crisp.
- Remove bacon and allow to cold.
- Combine cheese and onion.
- Crumble bacon and mix with cheese.
- Sprinkle proportionately over lightly greased 9 inch glass pie plate or possibly quiche dish.
- Combine lowfat milk, baking mix, egg, salt and pepper.
- Pour over bacon cheese mix.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Microwave on high, uncovered, 12-14 min or possibly till set, rotating dish 3 or possibly 4 times.
- Let stand 5 min before cutting into wedges and serving.
