Super yummy easy gumbo

  1. Open can of ready made roux and stir
  2. Pour gallon of water in stock pot over medium heat.
  3. Pour in roux mixture and stir
  4. Bring to a boil for 30 minutes
  5. Shred chicken up, cut sausage, cut up celery
  6. Once roux mixture with water has boiled for 30 minutes put in sausage, chicken and celery
  7. Sprinkle onion powder and garlic powder
  8. Put in minced garlic and parsley and put in bay leaves
  9. Stir very well and lower heat simmer covered for 1.5 hours and stir with a large wooden spoon every 15 minutes
  10. Once done celery should be soft.
  11. Remove bay leaves.
  12. Serve over cooked rice.
  13. So so yummy.
  14. Enjoy
