Pizza Sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 (28-ounce) can tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
- Over medium heat, heat oil in a saucepan until hot.
- Add all ingredients, cover and bring to a boil.
- Uncover, lower heat and allow to simmer for 30 minutes.
- Pizza Toppings for Red Sauce: Shredded mozzarella Fresh basil Turkey sausage, cooked.
