Catalan-style Tomato Bread

  1. Toast bread.
  2. Peel garlic, cut off root end and rub cut side on bread.
  3. For a milder garlic taste, use roasted garlic.
  4. Slice tomatoes in half crosswise and rub cut side on bread.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
  6. Eat on its own, with your favorite toppings or as a base for your sandwiches.
  7. Its that simple!
