Anise Biscotchos Recipe
- 1 c. Butter
- 2 c. Sugar
- 4 lrg Large eggs
- 1/4 tsp Anise extract
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 3 Tbsp. Anise seed
- 5 c. Flour
- With an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar till smooth.
- Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
- Add in the anise and vanilla, blending thogoughly.
- When the batter is light and fluffly, add in baking pwdr and anise seed and mix well.
- Add in flour, one c. at a time, blending after each addition.
- Wrap in wax paper and chill 6 to 8 hrs.
- Shape into walnut-size balls, and place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400 for 15 min or possibly till cookies are golden brown.
