Turnips And Onions Recipe
- 6 med. turnips, peeled & sliced
- 2 c. sliced onion
- 1 chicken flavored bouillon cube
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 2 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon freeze dry chives
- Place turnips and onion in a 2 qt casserole.
- Dissolve bouillon cube in water; stir in remaining ingredients.
- Pour over vegetables.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs, stirring occasionally.
- Yield: 6 servings.
