Firm Tofu, Komatsuna & Tuna Stir-Fry

  1. Lightly remove the excess water from the tofu.
  2. (Wrap it in a paper towel and microwave for 2 minutes, without using plastic wrap.
  3. Let cool still in the paper towel, and then drain.)
  4. Cut the vegetables into sizes that will cook quickly (cut the komatsuna into 2 cm pieces and the carrot into thin strips).
  5. Pour the oil from the tuna can into the hot frying pan.
  6. Add the vegetables in the following order: carrot, komatsuna stalk, komatsuna leaves.
  7. Mix everything together as you stir-fry (medium heat).
  8. When everything has become tender, add the tuna and the chicken soup stock granules.
  9. Add the tofu while breaking it apart and then mix it with the other ingredients.
  10. Pour in the soy sauce and stir-fry until the liquid in the pan simmers away.
  11. Optionally, top with bonito flakes to make it taste even better!
