Simple Pepperoni Roll

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray cutting board with cooking spray and turn dough pieces onto board.
  3. Take a piece of the dough and push it flat with your hand.
  4. Then place 4-5 pieces of pepperoni (depending on size) in the middle and roll it up.
  5. Pinch the ends of the dough to hold the pepperoni inside.
  6. Repeat until youve used up all your dough and pepperoni.
  7. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap thats been lightly sprayed with oil and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  9. In a small saucepan, melt butter and sugar.
  10. Remove from heat and let cool.
  11. Whisk in egg.
  12. Brush rolls with mixture.
  13. Bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
