Rum Royal Eggnog
- 1 quart eggnog (commercial)
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened (not ice milk)
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee crystals
- 12 teaspoon rum flavoring
- whipped cream
- ground nutmeg
- In a small punch bowl, combine eggnog, ice cream, coffee and rum flavoring.
- Top with whipped cream and a dash of nutmeg.
- If you want to use regular rum instead of extract, here's the conversion.
- 1 tsp rum extract = 3 tbsp rum/to taste The ratio of light rum will be closer to 4 tbsp while dark rum requires less, closer to 2 tablespoons.
